How we work

Five steps, the same every year.

  1. Week one

    A first conversation

    We meet for an hour, at the office or on the phone. You tell us what changed this year, and we tell you what we will need. The first meeting costs nothing.

  2. Week two

    One list, asked for once

    We send a single list made for your return. You upload it, or leave the envelope at the front desk. We do not come back asking for more.

  3. Weeks three to five

    The work, shown to you

    Before anything is filed we go through the return with you line by line, and show where each number came from.

  4. By March 15

    Filed early

    Most returns go in by the middle of March. You get a copy, and the refund or the amount due, in plain figures.

  5. All year

    The rest of the year

    We remind you of each estimated payment, answer questions within the week, and keep your papers for seven years.
